National Wild Horse Adoption Day
September 26, 2009
Yavapai Fairgrounds – Prescott Valley, AZ
Wildhorse Ranch Rescue is hosting the National Wild Horse Adoption Day this year for Arizona. We will be receiving BLM mustangs and burros in late July. This gives us time to gentle the mustangs and burros in preparation for Adoption Day in September.
To accomplish this goal, we need some help.
Supplies we need:
- An RV for our training staff to stay in while working with the equines
- Hay – lots of grass hay and pellets
- 6 ft tall horse fencing – 2500 feet
- Shade structures
- Water Troughs and Feed Buckets
- Parelli Halters and 22’ lead ropes
- No Climb fencing – 20’ x 20’
- Donations to help cover costs for water and electric
Thank you for helping to save America’s Wild Mustangs and Burros!
