Charlee came home 8/28/2008!
She is still under daily medical care.
Our staff is able to take over the daily shots and hydrotherapy.
The entire herd was so happy to see her.
It will be several months before Charlee's leg will start to look normal again.
Her eyes were bright, her appetite is good and she was calling to her herd when she came out of the trailer. It is so good to have her back home.
~~~
Granpa's Charlee has been in the Hospital since 8/14/2008
She is on antibiotics and pain medication to battle the infection she developed.
She is in an intensive care situation right now.
We are in serious need of donations to help pay her medical bill.
Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
New Addition to Kitty City August 2008
This is Vincent.
He started showing up at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue several months ago. Then, one day, he was limping badly and his back leg was bloody. We guessed he got hit by a car. We captured him (he's feral) and took him to Arizona Animal Wellness Center. After X-rays, they discovered that he had been shot.
He is now back at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue, in our Gift Shop,
recovering in a cushy cage with lots of medicine and good food.
If you would like to help out with Vincent's medical bills, please visit our How You Can Help page and go to Support Kitty City. Put Vincent's name in the message box when checking out and we'll know your donation is for him.
Welcome Einstein,
a 13 year old Thoroughbred that was saved from the slaughter-buyer. Thanks to Marci for saving him. He is at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue and is safe. Rusty Granger and Kim Meagher picked Einstein up at the auction on 8/9/2008. He will remain with WHRR until he goes to his permanent home.
