JoJo is a retired United States Forest Service Mule. He has a bowed tendon in his front leg and this prevented him from being able to continue working for the Government. When United States Government Equines can no longer work after years of service, they are sent to the auction. They usually only attract the slaughter buyers. WildHorse Ranch Rescue is determined to provide a peaceful, loving retirement for as many service equines as we can. You can help us do that by sponsoring a retired US Government horse or mule.
