Starts at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue then on to the Riparian Preserve and back to the ranch
includes T-shirt, Ride, Refreshments and admission to the Celebration Party!
Celebration Party starts at 7 pm at the ranch.
The top 3 riders with the highest sponsorship will win Prizes!
The Grand Prize is a NEW Mountain Bike!

  • Walk starts at 2:30 p.m.

Who Can Participate?

Any 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization, corporation, family or individual can participate. We encourage you to bring your friendly, leashed pets but everyone must abide by the following rules regarding pets at the 2nd Annual PetSmart Charities PetWalk.  

Pet Rules

  1. Female dogs in heat are not allowed to participate in the 2nd Annual PetSmart Charities PetWalk.
  2. For all pets, minimum age to participate is 4 months old and fully vaccinated including rabies. Puppies should also be vaccinated for parvo and distemper.
  3. No dogs off leash at any time (unless they are apart of the Dog Agility Team).
  4. Dogs that show a display of aggression toward people or other animals will not be permitted to participate in the 2nd Annual PetSmart Charities PetWalk.
  5. Any companion pets, other than dogs, should be safely contained or leashed and the event should be as enjoyable for them as it is for the pet parent.
  6. We strongly suggest that all pets have current identification on them in the form of a tag and/or micro chipped.

Registration Information

There is a $25 registration fee per walker ($30 day of the event) for the 2nd Annual PetSmart Charities PetWalk. PetSmart Charities also asks walkers and teams to help homeless pets by raising much needed funds. Prizes will be available for various levels of fundraising for individuals and contests for top fundraising.
