Animals Needing Homes
These are NOT WHRR animals. Please contact the owner listed next to each image. These are animals in need of new homes.  We are posting this information to assist these owners in finding safe homes for their animals.

Pokey is a sorrel Quarter horse gelding, about 15 hands.  He is approx 22 years old and we have had him for 7 years.  He is broke to ride and would do well with an experienced adult.  Unfortunately, we have a neighbor that complained to the city about 1 too many horses on our property…we have 3 and are only allowed to have 2 in Chandler.   We are now being forced to find Pokey a new home.  I cannot sell him due to a medical issue.  He does not sweat during the summer if he is not on medication – it’s called One AC.  I need to find him a rescue or a home that is willing to care for him with this medical issue.  Pokey does great with other horses, dogs, and goats.  Can you please direct me to a foster home for him?  He is a great boy and it is killing us to place him somewhere else.  It’s very important that he goes to a great home.

Thank you for your time.  Please call me for any questions that you may have.
