Animals Needing Homes
These are NOT WHRR horses. Please contact the owner listed next to each image. These are horses in need of new homes. We are posting this information to assist these owners in finding safe homes for their horses.

Darth is a 20 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He is a very friendly, social able horse. Darth is a very loving and trusting fellow, so we want to make sure he goes someplace where he is safe and people are always nice to him. He is gentle around kids and other animals. He does not mind dogs and cats jumping on him, being around sheep, or kids petting him and brushing him. He especially likes baby horses. He has been a great babysitter and caretaker to a number of foals and weanlings. He loves attention and treats. He has been many places and seen many things so there is not much that makes him skittish.

We can no longer afford his upkeep, due to finances. He has been out on the reservation range in the day and he comes home in the morning and evening for his supplemental food and water. When spring comes the Navajo Nation rangers come and round up any horses that are not kept in corrals, so we don’t want him to get taken. He has not been ridden in awhile due to his bad knees.

Caroline at carolinehaugen85@aol.com or 602-615-9039  Jeter is 5 years old and is a German Sheppard mix. I rescued him from the Humanes Society when he was a puppy. Jeter is a great watch dog and a loyal companion. He loves to go on walks and and lay with you on the couch. I would love for him to go to a home where he can focus on 1 or 2 people. He does get frazzled when too many people are around. Although he does great with cats, he does not do well with other dogs or young kids. I love him with all my heart, and I want him to go to a home where he can be comfortable, and be with someone who has the time to love him. I have a list below of some facts.

His name is Jeter

He does not do well with puppies or young children- if the children are young he will be ok as long as there is no chasing or pulling on his tail
