If this is not okay with you, do 2 things:
1. Contact your Senators and Congressmen and tell them
you want the BLM to STOP rounding up wild horses NOW!
2. Support a horse rescue, because we all know the US Government
works very slowly. Horse rescues can help save horses with
your help, while we fight this battle!

8/20/2010 - Leaf's 2nd day at her new home at Dreamcatcher Ranch in Termo, CA.

8/19/2010 - Leaf was released on 400 acres, just 25 miles from where she was originally captured over a decade ago.  Check back for the release footage!

8/17/2010 At 3:09 am today, Skip DeNardo loaded Leaf into the trailer to start her trip to be released on 100 acres at DreamCatcher Wild Horse and Burro Sanctuary! We kissed Leaf goodbye. We'll miss her here at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue.

Leaf was adopted by filmmaker, Mira Tweti on 9/26/2009 at The National Wild Horse Adoption Day that Wildhorse Ranch Rescue hosted in Prescott, AZ. Since she was an older mustang, Leaf's bidding started at only $10. Per Roger Oyler, of the BLM, Leaf was going to be run through the Prescott Sale and could have ended up in the wrong hands. The BLM removed her from that sale and brought her to our National Wild Horse Adoption Event. Through that action and Mira adopting her, Leaf was safely brought to Wildhorse Ranch Rescue. Wildhorse Ranch Rescue helped find homes for 14 mustangs through the National Wild Horse Adoption Day Event in 2009.

You can make a Donation to help Leaf and other Mustangs just like her
