Sandy Gennaro
is a renowned drummer who has played with everyone from Cyndi Lauper, Johnny Winter, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and
The Monkees to Bo Diddley, Jo Lynn Turner, Michael Bolton, the Pat Travers Band and more. He has appeared on shows such as The Tonight Show, MTV Video Music Awards, The Grammy Awards, David Letterman and Entertainment Tonight.
Sandy plays throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and the Far East.
Along with his love of music, Sandy has a great love of animals, especially horses.
“I think Wildhorse Ranch Rescue is a godsend,” says Sandy.
“My love for horses dates back to my pre-teen years as a stable boy on Staten Island [New York] and continues today.
My only tattoo consists of a bust of a horse --"Flicka" -- depicted in the inners circle. WHRR does for animals what the animals cannot do for themselves. I will do all I can to perpetuate the necessary work of Wildhorse Ranch Rescue now and into the future. It's a no-brainer.”
