Suzie was a longtime volunteer at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue.
She was an amazing and kind person. She loved the horses at the ranch, and she loved her sweet bunnies.
She will be missed beyond belief.

Suzie Davis
On May 7, 2025, the angels came for our precious daughter Suzie Davis, while she slept.
Sueann Louise Davis (Suzie) was born on October 14, 1979 in Hayward, California. Suzie grew up in Oakley, California, and was a graduate of Liberty High School, in Brentwood, California. While in high school, Suzie was a member of the FFA and raised a pig, sheep, and a steer as her livestock projects.
Suzie loved horses as a child and that love never faded. Shortly after moving to Arizona in 2019, Suzie began volunteering at "Wildhorse Ranch Rescue" in Gilbert, Arizona. She fed, watered, and cared for the mustangs and adopted horses. It was not long before she was a member of the "Herd Health Team" where she took on additional responsibilities to care for the sick and injured horses, sometimes working late night shifts to ensure the horses received the care they needed.
Suzie also took shifts at the Wildhorse Welcome Cottage. While at Wildhorse, Suzie became the contact person for Brambley Hedge, a rabbit rescue that takes rabbits from other rescues and places them up for adoption. Suzie also created the Bunny Program at Wildhorse to help foster bunnies until Brambley could find room for them. Suzie had a knack for convincing other volunteers to open their doors to foster rabbits that are awaiting an opening. She taught them how to care for rabbits, kept supplies full, brought rabbits to their vet appointments and finally, to Brambley where they could find fur-ever homes. Suzie became an integral part in providing secure places for dozens of rabbits to land until they could go to the next phase of adoption. She fostered many rabbits herself including her own rabbit named Baby who she foster-failed and loved dearly along with her dogs.
Suzie is survived by her parents, Ken and Debbie Davis of Chandler, Arizona, Brother and Sister-in-Law Austin and Anne Davis and her two nieces Abigail Davis and Amelia Davis from Clarksville Tennessee; Cousin Sheila Flanagan, her husband Michael Flanagan and their son, Cayden of Mt. Juliet, TN. She is also survived by her Uncle Ken Gomez of Long Beach, California, Aunt "Tia" Penny Gomez of Pleasanton, CA, and Cousin Nick Gomez of Vermont; Aunt Kelly Rogas and husband Todd Rogas, Cousins Amie Shahan and Drew Rogas, of Conroe, Tx.
Suzie was deeply loved by her family and her many friends and will be missed forever.
